For those of you who would like to know a little bit about me.

My name is Michael Palmer and I really hate writing about myself so bare with me. I am based in Brisbane, Australia and I have been sculpting for over a decade now. I am trained as a make-up and special effects artist, and I have worked on several films, a few TV series, some commercials and more theatre productions than I care to think about.  I found that I preferred creating designs from scratch rather than working off somebody else’s production sketches so I set off into the world of fantasy sculpture. I sculpted quite a few little creatures and faeries, etc mainly for friends and family but one day it was suggested to me that I should enter one of my guys in a doll competition, so I did. I was lucky enough to win “Best in Section” and I was hooked. I then discovered eBay and sold many of my pieces to collectors all over the world, and I am proud to say that my work is now in over 35 countries. Even though selling through eBay is fun I always wanted a place on the web that people could come and see a wider variety of my work then just a single piece at a time, so I made this website.
